Does Ankario take insurance?
Ankario is a cash-pay service and does not bill insurance for the services offered through the platform. If you have a question about the cost for a specific treatment, email support@ankario.com before you begin.
Will my care require an appointment?
Appointment requirements can vary based on your clinical needs, applicable rules, and the reviewing provider's judgment. A provider may request additional information or an appointment. For general process questions before you begin, email support@ankario.com.
What GLP-1 medications are available through Ankario?
Ankario's current Weight Loss offering is focused on semaglutide and tirzepatide. Both require a prescription, and completing an intake does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Email support@ankario.com to confirm current availability and formulation details before you begin.
What if my provider does not approve my prescription?
An independent provider may decide that treatment is not appropriate based on the information reviewed and applicable clinical criteria. In that case, no prescription is issued. That review is an important part of making sure any treatment decision is based on your individual circumstances.
